Weifang University of Science and Technology

Weifang University of Science and Technology is a full-time common university approved by the Ministry of Education, located in the famous Hometown of Vegetable – Shouguang. The university covers an area of 140 hectares , floor space of 870,000 square meters , total asset of 1.5billion RMB of which teaching and research apparatus and equipment values 180 million RMB and 1600000 books in the library. The university runs 11 colleges or departments with 23 undergraduate majors and 41 junior college graduate majors .It has a staff of 1600 including 386 professors and associate professors, 556 doctors and masters, 33 foreign teachers , and 27000 full-time students. The university has been rewarded many kinds of honors, such as Shandong Advanced Unit in Education, Provincial-class Civilization, Shandong Advanced Unit in Ideological and Political Education, Enterprise-college Cooperation, Employment Service etc.

The superior disciplines include Computer, Vegetable and Flower Culture, Chemical Technology, Mechanotronics, Mechanical Engineering, Constructional Engineering.

Since 2003, the university has enrolled 415 international students from U.S.A, Ukraine, Russia, Korea, Japan, India, etc.
